Lovely English

Those who know nothing of foreign languages, know noting of their own

Gospel

All things are possible to him that believeth.

Ask, and it shall be given you;

        seek, and ye shall find;

knock, and it shall be opened

                  unto you.

They must be felt

God Does exist! (Parastoo Ebrahimi

A man went to a barbershop to have his head cut and

his bread trimmed. As the barber began to work, they

began to have a good conversation they talked about

so many things and various subjects. When they

eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber

said:

"I don't believe that God exists"

"Why do you say that" asked the customer.

"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize

that God doesn't exists. Tell me if God exists, would

there be so many sick people? Would there be

abandoned children? If God existed there would be

neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving

a God who would allow all of these things."

The customer though for a moment but didn't

want to start an argument. The barber finished his

job and the customer left the shop. Just he left the

barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long,

stringy, dirty hair and no untrimmed bread. He

looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned

back and entered the barbershop again and he said

to the barber:

"you know what? Barbers do not exist"

"How can you say that?" Asked the surprised barber.

"I am here, and I am a barber.

And I just worked on you"

"No" customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist

because if they did, there would be no people

with dirty long hair and untrimmed breads,

like that man out side."

         "Ah, but barbers Do exist!

                 what happens, is,

people do not come to me."

"Exactly!"  Affirmed the customer. "That's the point!

                God, too, Does exist!

what happens, is, people do not come to Him and do

notlook for him. That's why there's so much pain and

 suffering in the world."

How many, How much (Silverstein

How many slams in an old screen door?

Depends how loud you shut it.

How many slices in a bread?

Depends how thin you cut it.

How much good inside a day?

Depends how good you live in them.

How much love inside a friend?

Depends how much you give to them.

PRESS TV

Hi my friends

My weblog isn't for news but it's for every thing that helps English. These days you see something on TV about a new channel. It's PRESS TV. I want to write some thing about it because it's an English news channel:

Website http://www.presstv.ir
PRESS TV is an English-language international television news channel. Press TV is based in Tehran and broadcasts in English on a round-the-clock schedule. With 26 international correspondents and more than 400 staffs around the world, its stated mission is to offer a different and unbiased view of the world events

History
The channel's website launched in late January 2007. Test satellite transmissions were conducted in late April 2007. The planned launch date for the channel is July 2, 2007

Vision
To break the global media stranglehold of western outlets.
To bridge cultural divisions pragmatically.
To highlight the versatility and vitality of political and cultural differences, making up the human condition.
The policy makers of Press TV believe that since the 9/11 attacks, the world's media had divided into two camps: On the one side was the perspective offered by Western media, while the other side (al-Jazeera) was pro-Taleban and pro-al-Qaeda. The stated mission of PRESS TV is to offer a different view, unlike Al-Jazeera and western media (such as BBC and CNN).

According to Shahab Mosavat, Press TV director of communications, Press TV will keep its independence from the Iranian government. In an interview with NPR (National Public Radio), he emphasized that Press TV will be state-funded rather than state controlled.

The Butterfly and the Cocoon (Parastoo Ebrahimi

A small crack appeared on a cocoon

A man sat for hours and watched carefully the struggle of the

Butterfly to get out of that small crack of cocoon

Then the butterfly stopped striving

It seemed that she was exhausted and couldn't go on trying

The man decided to help the poor creature

He widened the crack by scissors

The butterfly came out of cocoon easily, but her body was

Tiny and her wings were wrinkled

The man continued watching the butterfly

He expected to see her wings become expanded to protect her

Body But it didn't happen!

As a matter of fact, the butterfly had to crawl on the ground

For the rest of her life, for she could never fly.....

The kind man didn't realize that God had arranged the

Limitation of cocoon, and also the struggle for butterfly to

Get out of it, so than a certain fluid could be discharged

from her body to enable her to fly afterward.

Sometimes struggling is the only thing we need to do.

If God had provided us with an easy life to live without

Any difficulties, then we became paralyzed couldn't

Become strong, and could not fly.
